Progress- Finally!

2020 started with our plans being filed for a permit…little did we think a pandemic was going to slow the progress. 6 months (and a very changed world) later, we had a permit in hand!

We were so excited, but the delays began immediately for the first step, tree removal. Once we got started, things began to change quickly….here are some shots of our first part of construction.

Once the grading is complete, the walls are located again with the surveyor. We had a bit more grading to do, staked the walls again and now a week of rain. Fingers crossed the footings can be prepared next week!
